Below are the instructions to transfer your BC Google account data to a personal account.
- Open a new private or incognito browsing window and Go to https://myaccount.google.com/ and log into your BC Google account.
NOTE: Once you log into https://myaccount.google.com/ if you do not see the “Start transfer” button on the front page, select “Data & privacy” on the left side and you should see the option.
- Select “Start transfer”
- Enter the personal Gmail email (or create a new one) you’d like to transfer your account data to then select “SEND CODE”
- You will receive an email to your personal Gmail email with the subject “Verify your account” that contains a button labeled “Get confirmation code”. Click the button and it will open to a browser window/tab containing the codee
- Enter the code and select “VERIFY”
- Choose which items you would like to transfer to the personal account then select “START TRANSFER”
- Done. Transfer is in process. It may take up to a week for the transfer to be completed.
Note: you can select “View history” to view all transfers and their statuses.
